Youkai-mama: Well, isn't that just perfect! It's just right for the festival!
Eboni: It's too big.  
Youkai-mama: Come here, come here. Let me get a better look, Ebbi-chan!
Eboni: It's too big. And don't call me that.  
Youkai-mama: My! I really outdid myself this time! I couldn't have picked a better kimono!
Eboni: But it's too big.  
Youkai-mama: Well, come on, Ebbi-chan. Don't want to be late for your first youkai* festival!
Eboni: You're not listening.

Done for , Kimono Melt Down Event, featuring my new OC, Eboni. Eboni is an onryou, or vengeful spirit (yokai.com/onryou/), but since he died as a child, he still has a certain innocence about him. "Youkai-mama", as Eboni calls her, is a female noppera-bou (yokai.com/nopperabou/) who started to look after Eboni after he died. She is the one who named him "Eboni", though she calls him "Ebbi-chan".
